Research note
Research note: Meta releases Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, its first frontier-class models, aimed at AI agents
How we checked what Meta released, who can use it, and which figures are Meta’s own.
What we set out to check
What Meta released on 12 October, who can use each model, what it costs, and which performance figures come from Meta rather than independent testing.
What we found
- Meta’s own post confirms both models, the API and Muse Code availability, and the Muse Code-only limit for Wonder Full.
- Meta’s post gives no prices and no benchmark numbers; those come from TechCrunch and SiliconANGLE reading Meta’s materials.
- No outlet we read reported independent testing.
Numbers that differ
SiliconANGLE says Muse Spark launched in April 2026, while Meta’s post links to a September 2026 Muse Spark announcement, possibly a later version. We do not give a Muse Spark date.
Labels we chose and why
- Confirmed for release and availability, from Meta.
- Unconfirmed for pricing, seen only in TechCrunch.
- Claim for benchmark scores, which are Meta’s.
What we could not verify
- The prices on Meta’s own pricing page.
- The model card and research blog, which we did not open.
What we searched
- Meta Muse Wonder release
- Muse Wonder pricing API
- Muse Wonder benchmarks SWE-Marathon
