Question

What we set out to check

What the S-1 shows on revenue, losses, costs and control, and what it still leaves out.

Findings

What we found

Both main sources agree on the filing date, ticker, H1 revenue and the size of the net loss. The VC Corner cites S-1 page numbers and explains the non-cash loss; Seoul Economic Daily gives the H1 operating loss and the benefit fund shares.

Discrepancies

Numbers that differ

Seoul Economic Daily reports an H1 operating loss of $690 million; The VC Corner reports Q2 operating income of $974 million. These cover different periods, and we explain both. The $637 billion compute figure is The VC Corner's own sum, and we say so.

Method

Labels we chose and why

Reported for figures in both sources. Unconfirmed for the Q2 operating income and the credit rating report, each from one source.

Open questions

What we could not verify

The S-1 itself on the SEC website, which we did not open directly.

Can you help confirm one of these? Send us a source. When we find an answer, we update this note and the story, with the date.

Next steps

How we could improve this

Read the S-1 on SEC EDGAR, confirm every figure against its page, and update when the price range is filed.
