What we set out to check
The size of the round, who invested, what Simplismart sells and which numbers come from the company.
What we found
Both outlets agree on the amount, the lead investor and the other investors. Only IANS gives the valuation, customers and the 56% cost claim. The SaaS News lists how the money will be used.
Numbers that differ
None. The valuation appears only in the IANS report, which credits TechCrunch.
Labels we chose and why
Reported for the round and investors. Claim for the cost cut and revenue growth, which the company has not had checked independently.
What we could not verify
Simplismart's own announcement and the TechCrunch report the valuation comes from.
Can you help confirm one of these? Send us a source. When we find an answer, we update this note and the story, with the date.
How we could improve this
Add the company announcement and a customer comment, and check the cost-saving claim against a public case study if one exists.
